1. Who we are
Revolution Soccer Canada Ltd. ("Revolution Soccer", "we") runs youth soccer classes in Ontario. We are responsible for the personal information we collect. Questions go to our Privacy Officer at classes@revolution-soccer.com.
2. What we collect
- •Parent or guardian: name, email address, phone number, and account login.
- •Child: name, birth year, gender (for class grouping), the class and venue they attend, attendance, uniform size, and coach notes and progress ratings.
- •Safety: signed waivers, and any medical or allergy information you choose to give us, and incident or injury reports.
- •Payments: billing history and subscription status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- •Website use: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.
3. Why we use it
- •To register your child, place them in the right class and run sessions.
- •To take payments, issue receipts and process refunds.
- •To keep children safe, including emergency contact and incident records.
- •To contact you about classes, schedule changes, billing and your account.
- •To send news or offers, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- •To meet legal, insurance and accounting requirements.
4. Consent
By registering, you consent to us collecting and using this information for these purposes. A parent or guardian provides consent for children under 18. You can withdraw consent at any time, but we may then be unable to provide classes.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Revolution Soccer, and only what they need:
- •Stripe (payments)
- •Base44 (our website and member system)
- •Google Workspace (email and file storage)
- •Our SMS provider (text messages about classes)
- •Our insurer or the partner organization named on the waiver, if needed for an incident or claim
- •We may also share information if the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal information.
- •Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
6. Who can see it at Revolution Soccer
Staff see only what they need for their role:
- •Coaches and site admins: class lists, safety information and parent contact details for families at their own venues, so they can run sessions and reach you on the day.
- •Regional managers: the same information for families in their region.
- •Directors, administrators and finance staff: information across Revolution Soccer, as needed to run classes, payments and accounts.
- •Payment information is limited to managers, finance staff and directors.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information while your child is registered and for up to 7 years afterwards for accounting, insurance and legal reasons. Waivers and incident reports may be kept longer where insurance or the law requires. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
8. How we protect it
We use secure, access-controlled systems, encrypted connections and role-based permissions, and we limit staff access to what each role needs.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, where the law allows. Email classes@revolution-soccer.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Photos and video
We only use photos or video in which your child can be identified in our marketing with a parent or guardian's consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing classes@revolution-soccer.com.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and tell you about major changes by email.
12. Advertising measurement
We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools to measure how well our advertising works. These may set cookies in your browser.
